Jinzhousaurus is an Early Cretaceous hadrosauroid dinosaur found in China. The type species, Jinzhousaurus yangi, derives its generic name from the town of Jinzhou. Jinzhousaurus measures approximately 7 meters (23 feet) in length and possesses a skull that spans about half a meter. This places it in the category of medium-sized hadrosauroids. Notably, its snout is elongated, featuring large nares, and it lacks an antorbital fenestra. The back of its skull is unusually wide and bears a small crest on top. Furthermore, the lower jaw's dentary region boasts at least seventeen tooth positions.
