Jainosaurus (Jainosaurus septentrionalis) is a genus of dinosaur belonging to the group of herbivorous dinosaurs known as hadrosaurs. It lived approximately 70 to 68 million years ago in what is now India. Jainosaurus was named in 1975 based on fragmentary fossil remains found in the Lameta Formation of India. However, due to the limited nature of the fossils, understanding the complete picture of Jainosaurus remains a challenging task.
